Scheduling a Tour
Tours are by appointment and are only offered to families on our waitlist once a space becomes available.
Our operation is a living, breathing environment that grows and changes according to the needs of the children and animals in our care; therefore, in order to accurately depict the environment your child will enter, tours are restricted to those contacted for an immediate enrollment opportunity.

Tour FAQs
*Should I bring my child with me?
Yes! We highly encourage including your child in the tour process. Starting at a new place can be an overwhelming transition, so exploring a new space with the security of parents nearby aids in a smoother adjustment if you decide to start. We also feel children have a good sense for the energy of people and places and their input should be considered when making a decision.
*Why do you only tour at certain times of the day?
Homegrown's owners are also the Directors and function as part of the staff; therefore, it is our top priority to be mindful of the day-to-day ongoings with our current enrollees and team members. The tour times offered allow us to give you a personalized tour- providing you with our undivided attention without taking away from our students' daily experience.
*Is there a fee for joining the waitlist?
Not at all! Joining our waitlist is free as we will not charge anyone for an enrollment date we cannot promise.
*I already added myself to the waitlist... why can't I tour immediately?
Though our team is excited to show you around, we feel it is important to focus on our enrollees and will only schedule tours if we foresee having space within the immediate future. Our physical space is ever-evolving and we prefer to open our doors to new faces when they will be able to experience the space their child will be entering.
*I have an infant... can I tour to see if we even want to join the waitlist?
Although we understand wanting to get a feel for our program before joining the waitlist, we guarantee that you will look for different elements of a school as your child grows. We currently do not offer infant care, but we will reach out to families on the waitlist in the order they were added when we have space and your child is of age.
*I received a message about availability but I don't need care at the moment. Can I stay on the waitlist?
Yes! We strongly recommend getting on our list ASAP and kindly sending us a reply notifying us of your intent to "pass" on the current offer but remain on the list for the future.
*I liked what I saw on my tour but am unsure if my child is ready. Do you offer trial days?
We strongly believe in the consistency of our children's environment and therefore do not accommodate drop-in care. Trial days are unfortunately not an option.
*I already know I want to enroll. Do I still have to tour?
Yes! We feel it necessary to have a meet and greet with our team and open the floor for discussion about your child's/family's needs, what our program has to offer and how we go about achieving that.
